Gateway ENT is pleased to announce the addition of a dedicated Voice Center. As medical specialists who treat voice and swallowing disorders, ENT physicians often work closely with speech pathologists. Gateway’s ENT professionals have always focused on helping patients with complicated conditions such as throat cancer, vocal cord problems and swallowing difficulties, and now it is pleased to welcome Lisa Carr, one of the most experienced and sought after Speech Pathologists in the St. Louis region. Carr will head up the Speech Pathology Department of Gateway’s Voice Center, bringing with her over 30 years of experience treating speech, voice, and swallowing conditions. Many Otolaryngology practices do not have dedicated Speech Pathologists on staff and therefore, Gateway ENT is particularly thrilled to offer its patients the convenience of this service right in its office. The Voice Center will also be available to assist with patients needing Speech Pathology services who are referred from other physician practices or who reach out directly.
